Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park

Listed in the National Register of Historic Places and a California Historical Landmark, Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park was the retreat of actor Leo Carrillo. Starting in 1937, Carrillo created his vision of a working ranch, constructing numerous vernacular buildings, many from local adobe. The historic stable, a prominent multi-level adobe and stone structure, has been re-purposed as a flexible, multi-purpose space for education and special events.
